Our client, Vyking, envisioned empowering 3D artists and sneaker designers to create their own digital sneaker collections through an NFT marketplace tailored for virtual sneakers. Targeting Gen Z, gamers, and crypto investors, the client sought to incorporate an Augmented Reality (AR) component into the platform. Compounded with this vision was the requirement to utilize the Tezos blockchain, as the client had received funding from the Tezos foundation. The MVP we delivered not only enabled users to acquire unique collectible NFT sneakers but also facilitated virtual try-ons through an AR solution previously developed by the Vyking team. Additionally, the platform provided digital artists with the tools to create NFTs, submit them for review by marketplace owners, and upon approval, feature them on the storefront. Furthermore, the solution was designed to accommodate future roadmap milestones, including the integration of wearables into characters in open-source games and virtual reality environments. Through our collaborative effort, Vyking's vision of revolutionizing the digital sneaker market was successfully brought to life, laying a solid foundation for future growth and innovation.
