Transcality
Achieve unparalleled accuracy in modeling and simulation with GIS and Digital Twin technology.
problem
Transcality, a company specializing in digital twin technology and geographic information system (GIS) mapping for city infrastructure, sought to develop a scalable and secure platform to efficiently manage real-time data streams and perform optimally in high-demand environments. Their web-based application aimed to provide users with the ability to analyze and plan traffic scenarios based on selected road networks. The challenge was in defining the business requirements and creating a technical architecture supporting large-scale data simulation, integration, and analysis across industries like smart cities, supply chain management, and financial services.

solution
Our team conducted a comprehensive business analysis and created an initial architecture diagram for Transcality’s digital twin platform. The goal was to deliver a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) — a working web app that allowed users to log in, simulate traffic scenarios, and analyze road networks in real-time. The frontend was built using React, while the backend was developed in Node.js, ensuring a responsive and dynamic user experience. We designed a scalable, microservices-based architecture to support real-time data processing, ensuring integration with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, and addressing security and performance requirements.

results
The business analysis and architecture design provided Transcality with a clear path for developing their MVP. Our solution ensured that the platform could handle large-scale data simulations and analyses, offering users a reliable tool for traffic scenario planning. The foundation we laid positioned Transcality to deliver a robust digital twin solution for city infrastructure, enabling clients to make data-driven decisions and optimize road networks efficiently.
