Skillmapper

SkillMapper is a community where learners come together to share carefully curated learning paths, empowering them to master new skills. The client approached us to develop a Google Chrome extension designed to assist a community of learners in discovering and organizing the best learning content available. SkillMapper enables users to effortlessly highlight web content, structure their learning journey in collections of music playlists, and stay informed about what like-minded individuals are learning in real time across their favorite subjects.

Our team collaborated closely with the client and their team to construct the React JS front-end, covering both the user interface and logic of the solution. This ensures that users have a seamless experience accessing the plugin's diverse features, including course analysis, user dashboards, reviews, multilingual support, and the ability to save courses, videos, and articles. With the introduction of the extension, the client could offer their community new features to optimize their experience on the platform, enabling them to save any web content with just one click. Users can also now highlight text or transcripts from articles or YouTube videos for quick reference. We introduced a new option to build and organize a personalized library of knowledge using Collections and make on-the-go notes. As a result, new functionalities allow users to enjoy unlimited AI-powered auto-tagging for efficient content categorization, as well as follow content curators and explore new, curated content through a personalized feed on the web.

They have a very diligent team who are able to scope all our technical requests very well. They also consistently give us daily updates. We use Slack for day-to-day communication, and we also use Jira and Google Docs.
