Citcon, positioned as the premier payment gateway provider for international brands venturing into the Chinese market, sought our expertise based in Silicon Valley. Offering a plethora of payment methods including AliPay, WeChat Pay, Klarna, Venmo, Gcash, PayPal, among others, Citcon required a partner capable of developing an extension for their platform. This extension needed to seamlessly integrate with popular e-commerce solutions like Shopify, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, BoldCommerce, Magento, and others. Initially, Citcon approached us for the development of a Shopify plugin as a Proof of Concept, aiming to address this pressing need.

These plugins collectively addressed 80-90% of Citcon s e-commerce extension requirements. In addition to the Shopify plugin, we tailored custom integrations and developed additional plugins for platforms such as BigCommerce, BigCommerce Enterprise, and BoldCommerce. A notable challenge was navigating Shopify s intricate acceptance process for testing and integrating private plugins into their ecosystem. Guiding Citcon through this process, we made necessary adjustments to ensure successful integration while meeting Shopify s stringent criteria.
